Elia knows six languages: Basque, Spanish, English, French, Catalonian and Galician. You can use it to translate between these languages.
Elia allows you to translate individual documents. It supports documents in various formats:
  • Microsoft Office (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .docm, dotx, .dotm, .ott, .xlsm, .xltx, xltm, .pptm, .ppsm, .potx, .potm)
  • LibreOffice (.odt, .ods, .odp, .ott, .ots, otp)
  • Plain text (.txt)
  • LaTeX (.tex)
  • PDF (.pdf)
  • E-books (.epub)
  • Data exchange formats (.csv, .tsv, .xml, .json, .dtd, .yaml, .yml)
  • Layout formats (.idm, .ccml, .gpx, .mif, .wcml, .dita, .ditamap)
  • Programming formats (.html, .htm, .xml, .resx, .ts, .wix, .strings, .properties, .md, .php)
  • Localisation formats (.xlf, .txlf, .xliff, .sdlxliff, .po, srt)
Elia allows you to translate individual documents. There are three options:
  • Translation of individual documents and payment by bank card (€0.008/word + VAT). To use this option, you must register with Elia. Once registered, you can translate 3 documents (up to 1,000 words) free of charge to try out the service. After that, you will have to pay for each document you upload in order to download it.
  • Profesionala (erabiltzaile bakarra): 150 €/hil + BEZa. Hilabete solteak kontratatu daitezke. Urte guztiko konpromisoa hartuz gero, 100 €/hil + BEZa ordainduko da). Hitz-muga: 50.000 hitz hilean.
  • Profesionala (nahi adina erabiltzaile): 250 €/hil + BEZa. Hilabete solteak kontratatu daitezke. Urte guztiko konpromisoa hartuz gero, 200 €/hil + BEZa ordainduko da). Hitz-mugarik gabe.
  • The file size must not exceed 30 MB.
  • The document must contain at least 100 words.
  • Only the person who created the company glossary can edit it.

Yes, Elia has a desktop application that you can install on your computer. There are versions for Linux, Windows and Mac.
